The show began as part of a Youth Week activity called 'Young Fun Our Voice'. However, the response was so good, it has become a permanent part of the line up on 5GTR FM, under the banner of 'The Union Show'.
"We realised a lot of our members listen to 5GTR while working the night shift" - Travis told a local newspaper.
"While union issues wil be discussed, we also want to address controversial issues, provide support for minority groups and play a wide range of music to cater for all industry night shift workers... I also have people in to interview, politicians, union officials, community groups and workers with a story to tell."
