John David Sutton
- Worked with the BWIU and CFMEU for 28 years as Organiser, Claims Officer, Industrial Officer, Co-ordinator, Assistant National Secretary of the CFMEU and National Secretary of the Construction and General Division of the CFMEU for 13 years.
- June 2006 was elected as National Secretary of the CFMEU.
- Vice-President of the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) and National Co-ordinator of Left Unions.
- International President, Trade Union International of Building, Wood and Building Material Industries (UITBB) since 2002.
